Zeiss Ikon

No, I would not pay 1K for a zeiss Ikon. My Leica M2 feels like it can last forever and when automation is desired, my Hexar RF fits the bill at half the price, or a Bessa R2/R2m/R2a at about the same.

True but the Zeiss Ikon offers aperture priority and has a good lightmeter, not to mention that it has a backdoor.

And it has an *incredible* viewfinder.
