I have a Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex recently and was curious what the value might be. I have identified it as a Ikoflex IIa (late) 855/16 from some google searching. I also have a prism finder and 2 Ikoprox filters. Does any of this stuff have value? ebay seems full of ridiculously overpriced ikoflex stuff, I see someone has the prisim listed for $200 and someone has a camera listed for over $1000! What would be reasonable for a used condition camera like this?

Things don't have intrinsic values, they are worth what you can get for them.

true on both counts, but in a global market most things have a generally established fair market price. I was hoping some of you guys who are undoubtedly more knowledgeable then I of the object in question could offer some insight. I realize there is no hard line, but this also isn't a piece of art were talking about, there should be a general market price that is reasonable for this camera. I am having trouble finding many solds on ebay and it seems keh doesn't carry much of this stuff either so no ballpark from them. Maybe it's worthless, but I wanted to check before I sell myself short.

If you have an ebay account, try searching for completed listings. Looking at Zeiss Ikon Ikoflexs - ignoring make and condition - it looks like a spread between $50 and $300. I'd assume $50 is for parts and $300 near mint for an in demand make. I didn't look at all of the ads though, those are just assumptions.

Edit: Ah, I missed your last comment. Quick google search showed stores selling them for ~$180 so I'd expect individual sales to generally go for less. I imagine the condition of the camera could cause a substantial swing in price as to the point where refinding these numbers would be hard.

Remember that those equipped with Tessar usually sell for 50% - 100% more than those with Novar (in the same condition).

I paid $45 for a nice Tessar one about 5 years ago. I consider it to be a great bargain.
