I love this little folding gem. I got it from an elderly acquaintance that no longer used it. It's a nice compact well built piece of equipment.

It needed a little work to get the light meter going and it still needs a good shutter CLA and adjustment.

If you don't want to tackle the shutter work yourself, you might contact Michael Zack at zackscamerarrepair.com. He did nice work on my Werra with interchangeable lenses and coupled light meter a few years ago.

I do indeed plan on getting into the shutter. They're clocks essentially. I'm just finishing up a shutter tester I built. which should come in handy. I'll post up the video here soon.

Nice Contessa, with the A serial number (1953-4), and the SynchroCompur.
Check the learncamerarepair website, for repair manuals for the (Prontor or) Compur

I'm not sure if they have the service manual for the Contessa though, they might

Check out Christ Sherlock's channel and get some molybdenum paste & graphite powder lubricant.
