DESCRIPTION: Zeiss Ikon Contax IIA With Tessar 5cm/3.5 Lens, Spool, Case & Contax Guide. Shutter speeds T - 1250. Serial no. X499 (Made in 1952). Only items shown are included.

CONDITION: I would say very good condition considering age. One ding on the left bottom edge. Common “Contax bumps” on the back. Rangefinder is pretty clear and working, but the up & down alignment is off. Rangefinder focus is somewhat hard to turn. Shutter winds and fires at all speeds, but the slower speeds are intermittent…one minute they sound right and the next minute they just fire quick. Lens glass has dust inside and a few light scratches on the front element. Blades are working, but look to have some light oil film. Shutter curtain looks good. Case is pretty much toast. Contax guide is complete but loose binding, soiling and wear. Selling as described…Some amount of service (CLA) would be required.
