this hologon camera set was used professionally & I would describe it as user condition
zeiss made 1400 of these total production - this one is in the second set of 400
the lens is is really nice condition - clean -clear - there is some minor coating wear on the front element
it shoots really nice from the results I have shot - using a film like kodak portra400 or cn400 the center filter is not needed
as these films have softer contrast range
slide film & ektar print film - the center filter comes in useful
this is the complete kit with the fitted case, grip & cable release
it includes the center filter - that was sold separately at additional cost
many cameras don't have this
the camera shows wear in the black paint & parts have been repainted
it came with 2 interchangeable zeiss film magazines - they are heavy & there is
an entire ritual that goes with using them
I traded them for a stock contarex back with the film inserts - & ive been happy with that -
although the back is chrome finish
the shutter works well at all speeds
the advance lever returns slowly at times but functions well
the finder has a bubble level you can see & the fluid is intact & works well
the finder has a mar in the center of the front glass
the center filter has many cleaning marks - but is functional
there is some black photo tape on the top cover - the hologon
is derived from the data strip cameras - I did this as a precaution in bright sun
$1500 plus $55 priority mail insured in the us
many of my photo files are too large to post in an ad
if you can provide an email address ill send pictures taken with this
it pretty amazing the results you can get - negatives are 25mm x 38mm
due to how close the lens rear glass is to the focal plane
