I'll have pix tonight, but, in short:
- It has a 2mm scratch between the center and edge of the front, otherwise in perfect condition
- I kind of got the short end of the stick, as I purchased this with the promise that it had nary a wisp on the glass
- I've shot several rolls and, as folks have counseled me, the hairline scratch has not made a difference in IQ; selling for need of funds, not due to condition of lens
- If you need pix before tonight, it is on auction site - but, mods, I am not pointing folks there...
...indeed, my price for apug boards is $900 shipped in US; 900 + shipping - US shipping cost for overseas; this is where I would like the lens to sell.
Thanks all,
John

Available; $700 shipped. Last drop, and I'll just keep and use otherwise. thanks!
Also, if interested, this is the thread I started after I received the lens: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)
In the end, no, it didn't make a difference to my images...but certainly to resale value!!!!!!

I have a question (not about the scratch/gouge). The ad says Nikon S or Contax.....it is my understanding that the pitch is different for those 2 cameras. Is this for the S or Contax?

Thanks.....shame about that mark its a beautiful lens!

Sold.
But, as for the question, from the reading I found - and hands-on experience - the lens worked fine on either camera mount. I know that some think this lens was built for Contax pitch (intentionally or not...), others say built for S-mount pitch. It was released and marketed for S-mount.
