I have an Zeiss 522/24 which somebody had literally soaked in oil . The shutter was stuck , the oil was dripping from the shutter blades and aperture blades. I've got the shutter and aperture cleaned up and the shutter amazingly sounds close to speed.

The camera has such a small view finder I need to remove the top cover to clean the view finder . Its so dirty I can barely see light through it. I have removed the 2 top screws and 1 side seems loose but the other side and middle acts as there is more fasteners ? The cold shoe has what appears to be a round peg with out any visible means to remove it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - - tom
