The Japanese don't have the L sound, so... Or at least they have a hard time knowing which one to use in a foreign language. There are endless examples of "engrish" out there.
But you'd think the between the translation and auto complete google would choose analogue over anarogue(which I don't think is a word-didn't google it)

It wasn't Google translate. It was transliteration by a Japanese-speaker. He or she spelled it the way they say it - there is no differentiation between the -l sound and the -r sound in Japanese. This is really not noteworthy.
