Yeah, David and I are gearing up for paper magazines. Special issue and Quarterly Journal. However I am concerned that my submitted scans for portfolios, et al., are far too small for the 8.25 x 10.75 book format. Most of my photographs in the .pdf's are 600 to 1200 pixels on the long side. It seems to me that I should be in the 1500 to 2000 range for a partial page sized photograph. Lulu requires about 3500 by 2500 pixels for a cover photograph.
Do I have a lot more work ahead of me? Do I need to recontact people? Have any of us printed books at Lulu and how big were your files?
