I'm looking to use a blog format rather than website because I want to add VERY infrequent ruminations and experiences to photos and photo experiences that are particularly significant to me....and might augment my minimalist marketing.

What's your approach to blogging and what system do you use? Please provide a link. Thanks!

I host my own site because I don’t trust platforms like blogger to keep things the same. I’ve used WordPress templates because a lot of them are more hack-proof than something I’d write. I’ve tried to come up with something that combines a blog and gallery but haven’t found anything really satisfactory. I’ll be interested in seeing how others answer.

I use Wordpress hosted by Wordpress themselves. It can be free - which works very well or there are two levels of paid use - I use the cheapest paid level as that is exactly what I want. You can see how it works for me by clicking on the link in my signature.
