Oh, well. They come, they go. Maybe he went over to The Dark Side, and took up that medium we aren't supposed to think about here, let alone discuss on this forum... Or maybe he discovered girls. After all, they are the little foxes, and we are the old hounds. And foxes as we know, run in every direction, often at the same time.
For all that, photography is a lifelong passion, and most of us have left it at some time but inevitably, eventually, returned to it. We may yet see an exhibition of his silver halides shot and processed in the wilds of Texas.
Let us wish him the very best, and hope he will some day return to enlighten us.
