This lens is the Nikkor M 300 older brother. Both lenses are identical, both weigh in at 345 grams (with caps and lensboard on) and fit in your T-shirt pocket.
The difference is that the Q is single-coated and the M is multi-coated.
At one time I owned both and, in normal situations, (not shooting against the Sun,) there is absolutely no difference at least in up to 11x14 enlargements.
I sold the M and kept this one,
I no longer hike and can do with a heavier 300's the 5.6 apertures models double the weight.
The lens is in perfect shape. There are no defects in the 2 groups with the glass completely unblemished.
The shutter is accurate, the iris is also free of defects or oil. The metal body has no problems
The price includes the lens, the lensboard, the phalange, 2 generic caps, and a skylight filter.
