What film goes with soy sauce????

Just asking

Why, Fuji of course. You think I'd put ketchup on my Japanese fare?

Hi!

Great thread!
I'm kind of a(n analog) newbie and I was wondering whether I should put my film (and paper???) in the fridge. I guess I got an answer here!

I have some questions though. Are there any concerns with potential humidity? I guess yes. But then what can we do to prevent humidity or the formation of droplets (it happens in some fridges).
Also, what would be best for film: the vegetable drawer? A "regular" shelf mid-fridge?
I read that some of you freeze film. I didn't know that was possible. What are the consequences then? And how long would film take to unfreeze and be usable?

10 bid, no offer... you're gonna have to pry those films out of my frozen dead hands! Or at the very least, tell me more about that Montrachet

I store the film on the regular shelves and keep it inside large plastic boxes that the supermarket sells for food storage.

Ahh, no offer. A trader's most dreaded response.

As for the Montrachet, it is a mischievous white wine that's subtle, yet makes a statement. Quite honestly, I don't drink white wine. I much prefer reds. Wines, not Commies. All Bordeaux, a few cabernet. Most American vintners are a century away from their european counterparts, but I will capitulate to a few wiley reserves.

Its really getting out of hand!

They are multiplying!
I had to envict all the green tea from the fridge (apart from that super matcha that my late sensei gave to me) and I am running out of space! I am eating and eating the chocolate but is not running out (the magic bottomless chocolate boxes) and there is no space left for dead animals!
Next it will be the vegetables but cheese and raki are going nowhere!

If I stop being able to buy film (hp5+, fp4+) locally then I am doomed. I am gonna have to look for a second fridge...

Adding a 25 Pack of Efke 100PL in 11x14 this week too, that wont last long.

More random shit stuffed in the back, I'd try and see what it all is, but really, getting anything out of my fridge is like playing Jenga.
I drink a large amount of milk, and it used to be the top 2 shelfs for film, and the bottom one and door for milk (4 Gallons per trip to the store) but now I'll have to knock that down to 3 and keep one in the 'other' fridge.
The turnover rate in here is pretty damn quick, other than the little oddities in there, it'll be time to fill it up again in a couple months.

You fellows have quite the larder. I thought I had a lot but next to nothing in comparison! :>)

Of course, I'm ten minutes from a local shop that supplies a large amateur population and fifteen minutes from Calumet.

Exactly. If I had easy access to film, I wouldn't need to fill up my fridge.

My husband got tired several years ago of having to hunt for the food amidst all the film and paper I kept in the refrigerator and freezer. So I have a small dedicated refrigerator/freezer in the garage for film and paper. Keeps the materials cleaner, besides making it easier to find the essentials--by that I mean film! One can live without food for a couple of weeks, but live without film? No way!

I'm about a 10 minute walk from Calumet, but c'mon, it's cold outside, who wants to walk all that way?
