Wet Plate Collodion

Photostock it is not, but I've decided to offer this workshop within the originally planned dates. Starting Thursday evening, the first night will cover chemistry and safe handling followed by us mixing collodion, silver nitrate, developer and fix that will be used over the next 2 full days of pouring plates.
Friday will be spent on my property pouring your first plates and getting familiar with the process followed by Saturday working out in the field out of my trailer darkroom as well as a darkbox. By the end of the 2 and a half days, you will have a working understanding of the process and be able to strike off on your own.
The workshop site is located on 11 acres of woodland in beautiful, northern Emmet County and free, rustic camping is available on site. I'm partial, but with its location near Lake Michigan, Sturgeon Bay and Wilderness State Park, I believe it to be one of the most beautiful places in Northern Michigan.
