Well I was going thru some boxed cameras (not box cams) and found a new antique: A roll of Kodachrome 64, in the original box.
It will have a place of honor on my display shelves, whenever I get those up!

Kodachrome was a Kodak slide film that used the K-14 developing process instead of E-6. If you want to know more about it just go to Wikipedia and type Kodachrome in the search box. I forgot to mention, it's no longer made and you can't get it developed anymore. I think "Dewaynes photo" was the last to offer developing for it up untill Dec 31 of last year.

No kidding? Did they really used to make that film?

Rick, if you watch "Ancient Aliens" on the History channel you would know that Kodachrome was brought to us by an alien race that no longer uses the Earth as a fueling port.

Are you calling Paul Simon an ALIEN????

I'm pretty sure he still re-fuels here on earth.

Richard

Paul just wrote a song about it but if you listen closely and even play it backwards you will hear him admit to the alien origins.

I knew that kodachrome was all a myth just by all the chatter about it, and it being raised to deity status and worshiped.

I had a roll of that, but one night a black helicopter landed on the roof and guys in SWAT gear took it away from me.

But really, I have some in 120 and a few rolls of Kodachrome 25.
