Eastview Photo located here in Ottawa will close its doors on Tuesday after many decades of operations serving the amateur and pro markets. The owner was just not in tune with this digital craze and never adapted well to changing market conditions so he is just "shuttin er down".
Walking in there is like stepping back in time a good 30 years. Some of the stuff on the shelves has been there that long too. All kinds of Kodak chemicals, Kodabromide, Galerie and Elite papers, old trays and graduates etc...
I will greatly miss that old fashion store - the last of its kind in this region.
