Just developed my first roll since I shot for my highschool newspaper many moons ago.

A couple of months ago picked up the bug and a pentax SLR and more recently moved to a FED2 and have been wandering around town happily shooting away with it.

Set aside the first roll out of the FED (light leak testing and curtain testing) as a good one to start with. I didn't make notes about what I did on what frame as I was doing all sorts of stuff with the cap on and pointed at lights etc, but, I must have finished up the roll on a few plants in the back yard because they're there and looking developed..

Stumbled across Jason Brunner's site, then videos, then suggestion to visit APUG. Thanks for the push, Jason.

Tomorrow have a couple of rolls of 120 from the Holga and 2 more 35mm to develop. I see that for 35mm I should stick to the same film for a couple of rolls so I can double up on developing.

Take care,

Joe

Fantastic, joe. I am truly happy for you to have rediscovered a long lost love.

I know how it is. I recently got back into darkroom work after 23 years. It's a good feeling, isn't it?

You're sure right. It's a rush to see something when I pull it out of the wash.

Finished one of the 120's I had, on the last couple frames I realized I'd been using the 6x6 mask but shooting like I had the 4.5x6 in.. Every frame overlaps, but, the second roll should be fine.

I'm excited to get some contact prints made.
