I used to have a T4 and was thinking of getting it again but i know that the camera used to have issues so i wonder: Is there a resource page for Yashica T4/5 repairs? The prices have skyrocketed so i dont wanna get one if there are no infos on how to repair it(the most random issues at least)

This website seems to have access to a service manual (item #90676)

I've contacted Mark Hama and Nippon Photoclinic both in the last few days asking specifically about t4/5 repairs. Sadly they're out of parts.

Kanto in Japan perhaps? I don't think they work on auto/compact cameras ... but I may be wrong.

Best of luck. Let us know if you find somewhere either for info or spares.

A decent freaking T4 is nearly 200$ right now so if i imagine that it breaks down after a few rolls and that sending it in overseas for repair would cost me easily double, i dont even know if i really want this anymore.. Ahhh

Have you tried the Nikon L35AF?

It's not the same, but it has some things going for it.

i hope i won't catch any shit for this but the optics of the L35AF don't seem anywhere near a T4/5

Also, that waist level viewfinder on the T5 is pretty sweet.
