While in Tokyo recently I picked up a roll of Yashica Sapphire 70s, really just for sh!ts and giggles. It might be fun to put a Yashica branded film in a Yashica camera.

The description is that this is good for portraits. I've not found much info online. Is this perhaps one of the recent ORWO films repackaged? Does anyone know what it is, and how best to use it?

I have no idea who makes the Yashica films -- there are several them -- but it's not a surprise that they are a big hit with the LOMOGRAPHY crowd. Lots of color films with different emphasis:
