DESCRIPTION: Yashica Mat 124 G 6x6 TLR Medium Format Camera With Front Cap, Leather Case & Auxiliary Lens Set (Tele & Wide Angle). Yashinon 80mm 3.5 taking lens. Yashinon 80mm 2.8 viewing Lens. Shutter speeds B-500. Battery tested, but battery not included. No strap. Body serial # 2080969. As shown.
CONDITION: Very nice and clean condition for age with very minor wear to paint/finish. Camera winds and fires properly, there is some spots of corrosion in battery compartment but a fresh battery proved the meter is working (The meter switch is activated with opening of the viewfinder and sometimes you have to rock the viewfinder hood back and forth a couple of times to activate the switch/meter because the camera has been sitting idle for a while.), shutter fires at all speeds and sounds ear accurate at all speeds from 1-500, clean dry blades, smooth focus, viewfinder is clear but has dust on reflecting mirror, I see no scratches on the elements, bust there is the expected dust specks and the inside of the rear element of the taking lens has some soiled film on it (I dont thinks its fungus and I believe it can be cleaned off. Its not easy to see until you use a flashlight. It may not even effect the images but its there.), Case is excellent too with virtually no wear. Plastic lens cover has some wear. Auxiliary lens set is very nice except the wide angle lens set has fogging inside rear elements, but most likely can be cleaned off. NOTE: Previous owner has used black thread to secure the M/X switch from being accidentally moved to the wrong position when using the self timer to prevent damaging the shutter. I saw no reason to remove it. Self timer works fine by the way. Very nice Yashica TLR. Please ask any questions important to you.
