I have a yashica-mat 12 or yashica mat 12 serviced / refurbished twice by Mark Hama. 80mm f/3.5 Yashinon taking lens and an 80mm f/2.8 Yashinon viewing lens. It's been a fine camera, just no time to carry around a TLR. I did add telescope quality flocking inside. It has a Rick Oleson brightscreen with a split screen and grid lines. Mr. Hama claimed he adjusted the light meter to use an alkaline battery? I seemed to have ok luck with the meter using forgiving film. I have a lens hood and old ugly cap as well as an adapter to use hearing aid batteries in the light meter. It has a very slight dent on one of the feet that I was able to tap out and has finish wear from age. You can have the leather strap (aftermarket good quality) and the ever ready case (falling apart). $200 and the actual exact shipping of your choice.

*bump* $250. This is probably less than just the cost refurbishing and the bright screen combined.

If an alkaline is what Hama, I suspect it's a PX 625 to sub for a mercury battery. He calibrated for 1.5v. Alternative... a dummy MR9 t ype adapter and put a 368 silver oxide 1.5v...andhope it fits.

I've sent a Yashica TLR to Mr. Hama a few times for major photoshoot/travel mishaps. Each time it came back flawless.

How did you scan your film? It seems like there could be something wrong with the lens in a few of the shots unless the scans were just quick passes.

Serviced + a bright screen makes $200 a nice deal if the glass is clean.

Please sir don't take my lack of skill at shooting, developing or scanning as the fault of the camera I would have to double check but I rarely use it. It should be as clean as it was when Mr. Hama sent it. I did have to return it once because the lens seemed still hazy in the inside element. But Mr. Hama just said it just needed to be cleaned if I recall.
