They look pretty good, Andy. At f4 the differential focus is very obvious but is quite pleasing and I suspect for 99% of the users of such cameras in their heyday it was never a problem. Most of the time it was the foreground be that object or people that was important and shots that benefited from being in focus from foreground to background were "Summer" sorts of shots when a small aperture was required anyway. I am thinking of such holiday shots as the mother-in-law standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon or on the start of a tightrope walk over Niagara
