I discoved an unmarked shutter speed on my Yashica A half way between B and 1/25.

It appears to be around 1/15.

How useful! I wonder why they didn’t mark it?

If the shutter truly is stepless you’ll probably find other useful shutter speeds (and apertures) in between the settings.

Frequently the cams and/or grooves that control escapements are notched with a steep jump between the positions, thus making useful intermediate speeds unreliable. Though there are exceptions.

I think the speed cam has steps for a couple of speeds below 1/25 ... you would have to open up your Copal shutter to verify this.
