A Yashica 635 that I purchased a few months back came with the 35mm converter kit installed. Today I removed it to put a roll of 120 film in. It went well until I closed the rear cover and checked the frame counter, it still reads 5 (five). I tried opening the cover and closing it a few times but the frame counter did not reset. Have I forgotten something, the reset was supposed to be automatic according to the manual?

I think I found the problem, Dead Link Removed Not good news and its beyond what I would like to try as the camera is cosmetically pretty nice (IMO). I'm in Canada, who could I send it to for a repair and CLA? I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet.

I f you look in the manual part no 27 film rewind knob for the 35mm section has to be in/out for the different size films .I think you will find it also engages the frame counters .I cant look at mine right now as it has film in it but i hope this helps

I didn't know that, Oh well I sent it for repair and CLA and was pleasantly surprised by the cost. Thanks for the new, to me, information!

I found an online owner's manual for it. I bought it with the case and the complete 35mm adaptor kit. At the same time I picked up a set of used Hoya B&W filters and the lens adaptor . But I haven't been able to find the adaptor and the yellow filter, which I'm hoping is with the camera when I sent it for repair. Its not back from the shop yet. If its not with the camera and I cannot find it, would it be difficult to find another adaptor and yellow filter?
