For sale is my Yashica 24 tlr, serial L6091066, which was cla'd by Yashica tech Mark Hama a couple of years ago. It is very good shape for its age, normal scuff marks but nothing out of the ordinary from a nearly 50 year old camera. The lenses are clear, scratch and mold free. The taking lens is a Yashinon 3.5, he put in a new one when I noted that the original had some minor cleaning scratches on the outer surface. The focusing lens is a Yashinon 2.8 which makes the focusing screen a little brighter. The self timer works (make sure you have the flash synchro lever on X!) the meter responds to light but it isn't accurate but I always use a hand held meter for cameras of this vintage. The leatherette is in excellent shape with no peeling anywhere.
This camera did have some flare issues (as do a lot of Yashicas) but not anymore since I flocked the inside chamber.
Now for using 120 in a Yashica 24: The Yashica 12 and Yashica 24 were made just before Yashica came out with the Yashicamat 120/220 line. There are a lot of online discussions out there (I think I've read them all!) on whether or shooting 120 is recommended since the film combined with the backing paper would be too thick and might effect sharpness. Supposedly Yashica did make a 120 replacement back that could be substituted for the original, but I was told by Mark Hama that it was not necessary. All I know is that I have run 120 film through it and the negs are sharp. The black and white images enclosed were taken by me about a week ago using 120 Delta 400. The camera does have a start marker for using 120 film. The color shots are from 220 film.
The camera comes with a Yashica lens cap, an adapter for using a cable release and a Yashica leather case with strap. The leather case is in decent shape, there a little bit of missed stitching on the upper left corner in the back and the folding snap latch on the bottom front could use some reinforcement, but it is still attached.
