XTOL bad mixing.

Although i use XTOL as a main developer for more than 3 years, I did a stupid thing, poured 5L into a mixing container, than part A and after it was dissolved Part B. While i was decanting it to smaller 1L bottles I've realized I have more than 5L and that I forgot to mix it with 4L of water and after mixing to add up to 5L. Any ideas what to do? Compensate time or compensate in 1+1 dilution by adding less water.

I wouldn't get to worried. If you could accurately measure the total volume you could calculate how to use 1:1. I've used XTOL forever. I would use it as is maybe add 5% to development time.

If you have a second package you could add both together and make 10 liters

Most people don't have an accurate measure of 5 liters. Specific Gravity is probably the easiest way to check if you have a proper hydrometer .

How much more do you have? Probably something between 50 ml and 100 ml? When using it as replenishment or 1+1 5 L of XTOL should be enough for something like 40 to 50 films. This means you would need to add something like 1 to 2 ml of extra stock and 1 or 2 ml less water per film. Most measures of 0,5 L or 1 L aren't precise enough to measure till 1 ml of fluid, so use as is without compensating. You will be hard pressed to notice a difference.

Can you get more xtol ? I wouldn't mess around with pre-dilute developer, developer is cheep, you can't retake photographs usually. Best of luck

Develop a roll of film. I would bet that there's a lot of people who have done the same thing.

How much developing do you do?
If you usually go through 5 litres quickly (less than 5 months), I would suggest measuring your total volume and then, using the ratio between that volume and 5 litres, adjust your 1 + 1 dilution accordingly.
For example, if your volume is 5.5 litres and you normally make up 1 litre of 1 + 1 working solution at a time, you would instead use 550 ml of stock and 450 ml of water to make your 1 litre of working solution.
If your 5 litres normally lasts a long time, be cautious, because your stock may not last as long.

Thanks everybody, I use one 5L batch every 3-4 months 1+1 dilution in Jobo ATL1000 processor. 150 stock + 150ml of water for two films. I have 200ml more than i should have, which means that my stock is 96% of xtol stock and 4% of water. So for my 150+150 mix i need to use 144ml of "stock" and 150ml of water. Right?

Close, but you actually need to use more of the slightly more dilute stock, not less.
If you use 156ml of your slightly more dilute "stock", it will have essentially the same amount of active agreements as 150ml of regular "stock".
So what you want to do is add 156ml of your "stock" to 144ml of water, to end up with 300ml of normal 1+1 working solution.
I would think 155ml + 145ml would work as well, and be easier to measure.

It is slightly diluted and that should not be a problem especially even if you use it replenished.

Developed a strip of ~5 frames with compensation (1+1 with 0,96% factor) and a strip of ~5 frames without (straight 1+1). I can't see the difference in scans. I will continue to use 0,96 factor for the sake of sane mind, it is easy to mix as i always use two volumes
300ml (155+145) and 600ml (310+290) in Jobo.
