I'm shooting BW and with the 45mm I don't see any problems. Certainly the 90mm will be okay. Save your money for film.

The 90 is no problem, with the 45mm if your under F11 no problem, check the hasselblad web site for FAQ on the Xpan, it is a great camera.

I bought a Center density for the 45. The focus is really strange, not really sharp almost a double focus. I've found it easier to shoot past f11 and carry a monopod for slower shutter speeds. The weird focus combined with 1 stop loss of light really makes the center density kind of useless. There is a definate image circle fall off that if you don't want it willl dissapoint once you see the film.

I don't have the manual yet but how do you check the film counter?

The manual I got was a joke.

The film counter is in the top window. It tells how many frames of the current size set are left. On a 36 roll, there are 20 long frames.
