It's like an old recipe book.

Yes! I have one of those that was my Dad's - from the mid-60's. Wish they published them today, although they would be a lot thinner. Still, lots of good information.

Merry Christmas!

I picked mine up at a thrift shop for (drum roll here) fifty cents.

I got started in photography in the 80s and never heard of Ansco, Defender and didn't even knew DuPont was even in the photo supply biz. Lots of cool developer recipes.

They are an awesome collection of information.
One beware though, Ian Grant says that many of the formulas have mistakes, so I guess it might be good to compare any formulas you might be interested in with other sources first.

So Mainecoonmaniac, your goal for this year is to assemble and edit all the recipes, correcting all the errors and adding personal trade off observations of all the recipes. Then we will purchase electronic and hard copies of your compendium through the APUG store.

[clapping]I speak for all of us a APUG thanking you for the work on which you are embarking for the new year. [/clapping]

Sirius Glass. I just discovered the joys of mixing my own developer. Maybe on 20 years

The book is full of misprints and errors. Good luck.

That is why I nominated Mainecoonmaniac to edit and rewrite it. That will give him something to chew on.
