I agree that the battery is not necessary. I would re-cal daily anyway, and probably not use the unit for a week or so at a time. I don't want to leave the unit on all day, since the bulbs are rather dear. If I were using it for production work, the bulb would be a minor cost. I think a battery would be useful if I shut the machine off and then found I wanted to make some further tests on the same day. I find I am always forgetting something, or want to measure a new area.
I will get the X-Rite wedge.
As for emulsion, I just brought the AgN03 in from storage, so I hope to do one tonight.
As far as the 12x20 and 20x24 are concerned, she is truly a patient woman. I got very busy taking a family portrait, thereby proving that the equipment is essential to family history. It is an awful lot of mega pixels after all - I wouldn't even know where to begin calculating.
Caribou aren't big enough to hide those cameras. Besides, the caribou don't move near to us until winter time, and then we eat them. It may be the tastiest meat I have ever eaten.
