I have the following rolls of C-41 that I just don't want, it's too expensive to process color film and I prefer Chromes (of which I have enough supply of I think), so I'm looking to trade this for some good B&W film OR a 4x5 toyo (or similar multiple movements) field camera.
I'll be testing one of the 800 and one of the 400 rolls to ensure that the film is good, it was stored in a cool dark place but not frozen, I'll post pics soon when I see the results.
35mm...
4 Kodak Portra 400VC Exp. 2005
4 Kodak Portra 160NC Exp. 2006
2 Fuji NPH 400 Exp. 2004
1 Fuji NPS 160 Exp. 2002
11 total 35mm
120...
5 Kodak Porta 400VC Exp. 2002
21 Fuji NPH 400 Exp. 2002-2003
10 Fuji NHGII 800 Exp. 2002
1 Fuji NPZ 800 Exp. 2003
1 Fuji NPL 160 Exp. 2001
38 total 120
49 total rolls of C-41...
It's all expired but I got it from a professional photography studio owner who bought it new, its all "retired" film and hard to come by versions. It's all from the same place, bought around roughly the same time and has been stored together. So when I get the results back, assuming it's all good, I figure it's worth roughly on average $4 per roll of 120 and $7 per roll of 35mm based off of todays prices, That's $77 for the 35mm and $152 for the 120 for a total investment of $229. Now I'm recognizing the age factor that's why I want to test a roll of the higher speed stuff. The 800 roll I shot in the Yale rare books library which is VERY dark and at 800 still had to shoot at speeds of 1/15 or 1/8 handheld... , figure why not test it in "harsh" conditions... the 400 roll I'll test outside for sky and tree color fidelity (though it's winter here so not sure how much "green" I'll get).
So is this worth trading for anyone?
I'm really interested in a Toyo 4x5 field camera or similar field camera with lots of movements, just the body and ground glass and maybe cloth, I have the rest (1 lens, 2 boxes of film, 3 backs) just no body... haha
Or B&W films... I'd be interested in the following in 120....
Ilford PanF+
Fuji Acros
Kodak Tmax400
Ilford Delta 3200 or Kodak P3200
Agfa Scala / Adox Silvermax
Kodak Technical Pan (hehe)
Anyone?
I'll take some 4x5 ANR glass too... I'm pretty open to offers... I'll take a Leica too hehe...
