I'm on a budget and looking for your old stuff.

I need:

5x7 trays - at least 4
thermometer
graduated cylinders - several any size
safelight - for b&w paper
tongs
chemical storage bottles - 1 and 2 liter or maybe even gallon

let me know what you have and how much you want for it.

thanks for helping a broke guy get started :D

Baby bottles are great 8 oz. graduates, 16 oz. measure cups are good for, well, 16.0z. 5X7 trays can be had at the $1 Store...any plastic food storage contaner of the correct size works. Electronic fever thermometers are good for color work, Freestyle has a $5 B&W thermometer. Focth has good bottles. I use wooden clothes pins (turned around in the spring, so the skinny ends close together) for tongs.

Three used graduated cylinders (100 ml, 1000 ml/32 oz, 42 oz), a pack of clips for drying prints, some clips for drying film. If you can you it, it's yours for the cost of shipping (3 lbs) from Tampa, FL.

Did you need a clock/timer? Ive got a few Gralab 300's tat are looking for a new home. Im not looking for much money,

Get some real trays, ive tried using dollar store ones a long time ago and the aluminum ones disappeared when I left chemistry in them, never used $1 plastic, its just too flimsy.

The BEST bottles for chemical storage (liquid or powder) are in your waste basket: soda, water, juice: the clear, brittle plastic ones you see everywhere. They do not 'breathe' and I keep color dev for YEARS. But.....you MUST fill to the very top and they don't 'squeeze' well. Get different sizes. I also use 50 ml liquor bottles I occasionally find on the sidewalk. Of course, glass is just as good.

Bimmer:

I'm disposing of my brother's darkroom stuff.

Have a 5 X 7 safelight with OC filter for B&W
Unicolor 8 X 10 combo easel
Kodak projection print scale
35mm contact printer that needs foam replaced
full set of Ilford 3 X 3 polycontrast gelatin filters for B&W
Analite II enlarging meter - appears to work OK
8 - 8 X 10 trays (good heavy plastic ones)
reference books:
Kodak AJ-2 Basic Developing & Printing in B & W
Kodak AE-13 Basic Developing & Printing in Color
The darkroom handbook
Saunders borderless easels - 5 X 7, 8 X 10 and 11 X 14

Let me know what you want - I'm in the process of cleaning it all and will then start listing on APUG and later EBay
