Want to Buy WTB/WTT: Polaroid 8x10 Processor

Sadly, I'm looking for a Polaroid 8x10 processor (81-01 or comparable). I had just invested in a system, ordered the film, and was ready to. This morning, I plugged in the processor and was testing it and BOOM! Smoke and smell and heartbreak. Not sure what happened but the insides are fried.

I have an 81-05 holder in nice shape. I just need a processor -- again.

I might also be willing to trade for some quantity of (traditional) 8x10 film holders.

Ouch. That's heartbreaking. If I hadn't just sold mine (after trying unsuccessfully for months) I'd try to help you out. Good luck with the search. Have you considered trying to repair it? Given the cost of these machines it might be worth the effort.

Thanks. That's exactly what I'm trying to do. When I first opened it up, it looked hopeless. But it turned out to be the motor capacitor that had blown (and made a huge mess), and those can be replaced. So I'm looking for a 0.8uF 240VAC (or greater) capacitor of the right form factor to replace it.
