Want to Buy WTB/WTT: Need Copal 1 technica board FAST!

Hey guys!

Have to leave for Nova Scotia most likely by this weekend and I just got a new lens and I need of course another board. But because of this it has to ship FAST.

I'm willing to pay, but would prefer a trade...

I need...

Copal 1 linhof Technika style board, a Chamonix carbon fiber would be ideal, but I'll settle on the metal ones.

I have the following...

-1 toyo copal 0



-1 recessed toyo copal 0



-1 copal 1 (it came with the new lens that I just got, I don't really know which camera it goes in, I'm sure from the pictures you will know exactly what it fits into, it's really nice lightweight and a beautifully lacquered) wood board




And just to clarify, the mark you see is a scratch I put on the board when the retaining ring came loose and my tool scratched it, I put a dab of sharpie on it so the wood wasn't showing, it's not a crack or anything.

if you come up short and can't find a board you might consult with sk grimes ...
adam might be able to make you a board ( or has some in stock? )
and he is a short drive off of 95 >> 295>> woonsocket >> back on 295>>95 afterwards ...
you might also consider keeping your low profile, smaller, easier to pack/hike with
lensboards you already have, he ( adam ) can probably make you an adapter
that will fit your new 8x10 camera so you don't need to buy all new
lensboards, but use what you already have mounted ... on more than one camera
... removing lenses and mounting lenses on different boards every-time you want to
change formats is a PITA ... ... adapters aren't too expensive, worth every penny ..
and adam is an artist in every sense of the word

John, I think you have missed some things.

All of my LF cameras take the technika style 4x5 lensboards.

Both cameras have adapters from their ordinal kind (toyo/Chamonix) into linhof technika, I only have a few boards from the toyo because sometimes I have lens projects like my 122mm kodak lens I put into a toyo board etc.

Thanks for the sk grimes refference, if they take traded maybe that's an option too.
