Hi All,

I'm interested in trying out a Toyo Super Graphic. Looking for one that is in top working condition, cosmetics unimportant. If you have one for sale please PM me with info and price.

I also have a metal Toyo Field 4x5 (the original one that takes various backs) if anyone is interested in some kind of a trade.

Regards,
Anthony

Little known secret...the Toyo 45CF is a modern interpretation of that camera....but better in almost every way.

Or... he could just buy a Graflex Super Graphic.

Maybe so but the differences are insignificant unless the OP wants metric screws instead of SAE or needs an accessory shoe and doesn't want to add one. I haven't checked lately but the Toyo used to cost significantly more than the Graflex brand.

INFORMATION LINK

EDIT: There's a Toyo on eBay right now for $389 delivered CONUS and it comes with a lens of unknown make/model. It appears that some of the parts are missing from the back though.

Thanks everyone those are all good points.

The 45CF is an interesting camera. The light weight appeals to me but it doesn't have the same press camera vibe as the Super Graphic. If I found one at a good deal I'd definitely be tempted.

Why not a Graflex? Well, truth be told I'd probably snap one up in the right condition at the right price. I'm interested in the Toyo version because 1) they are newer cameras and 2) I'm partial to Toyos, having owned a number of them.

I did see that Toyo Super Graphic on eBay but, for me, the price is way too high for a camera that may or may not be complete/functional and the seller knows nothing about.

If you're interested in a Graflex version I have a few for sale. None are cosmetically perfect but I can guarantee proper function.
