why not make your own? use and x-acto knife and scratch hash marks throughout the image area...the small abrasions are very effective in alignment.

Ah! A far different answer than I expected...

Not a bad item to collect...

I think I have some target/reference negatives from a handbook I got from the prior (original) owner of my Jobo...they're not strictly for alignment of enlargers, rather for the calibration of color analyzers...not sure if that's of any appeal to you? I'll have to dig around a bit to find them regardless.

I don't quite follow. Moire patterns, line pairs, and things like that are used as an aid in either focusing or comparing lens resolution.

I made my own by shooting some fly screen. What works better for me is using a laser alignment tool I borrowed from work. I don't even have to turn on the enlarger.

I found what is labeled on the envelope by my dad as "film grating" 66.6 L/inch .015 spacing. Wasn't sure if this was what you were looking for. It's made by Edmund Scientific and is a Moire No.2. He was an engineer and did photo-micrography for testing machines. I don't know if that's what he used it for.
