Hey guys,

For my style of shooting I really don't want to have to buy a bag bellows to have to change out on site and carry around with me, but my wide angle lens is giving me trouble when I try to use any kind of movement, especially with my half slide.

I need a Technika style lens board in a copal 1 hole that is as recessed as possible, I can't

Being that I'm using it on a non-technika camera, I would really prefer the hole be centered and not dropped down, however I realize this might be hard to come by, but wanted to put it out there.

Thanks!

Hi what camera do you have? I may have the right lens board for you, if you need a 99mmx 96mm recessed board you can't have a copal 1 hole as the shutter will not fit, they are copal 0 and they are all off centre.

I'm confused, why can't I have a copal 1? The hole would seem to fit. The only thing that might get in the way is the front lens element in reaching the adjustments easily.

It's a Chamonix 810 with a Technika front standard with a 150 SS XL

Even the 210mm isn't super easy, but the 150 is certainly more difficult and that extra few CM will really make the difference.

I have a 20mm recessed Technika lens board with an offset hole - A Copal No.0.0 will just fit and It has to be orientated just right to enable room for the levers & knobs. A Copal No.1 will not physically fit into the recess. The recess is around 78mm dia, a No.1 shutter body is 72mm Dia,, the aperture lever and shutter release requires 8.5mm clearance, and if you need to cock the shutter, 12-13mm clearance is needed.

Trust us when we say a Copal No.1 will not fit into a recessed Technika (96x98mm) lens board.

That's annoying, shoot... Ugh ok, thanks, I understand now. I forgot the actual physical size of the copal was bigger not just the thread opening, stupid oversight.

Ok, guess I have to start a new WTB: shrinking machine....

*sigh*
