Want to Buy WTB: Solid Copy Stand

I'm looking for a solid copy stand. It doesn't need to be large - in fact something relatively small (max ~30" or so) would be great.

From the looks of it a lot of the new ones available aren't really well built - or if they are they're relatively expensive.

Something like the Kaiser R2 series is what i'm looking for. I may end up buying new but wanted to see if someone has one - or something similar gathering dust.

For shipping concerns i'm located in the CONUS. Let me know if you have anything that fits the bill. It doesn't need to be pretty, just functional and solid.

On many Durst enlargers there are three copy camera optons. Option #1: a copy "cassette" which can shoot one sheet of film at a time. Option t#2: Remove the enlarger post and mount a ball head, go ahead, the post that the head is mounted on has a standard 3/8" hole drilled to accept a head,. Option #3: a camera mount that slides onto the mounting post. Other enlargers have similar "system" accessories.

Uline used to sell one, i bought mine from them and it is fantastic.

Just keep your eyes open for almost any used enlarger being given away or offered for some ridiculously low price. Actually, all you need is the chassis. A couple of years ago, I picked up the chassis for a Beseler 45M (only $15) which I still hope to adapt as a copy stand. In this case I was lucky, since the motorized drive is still perfectly functional. If I ever get around to getting the job done, the thing should easily handle cameras up to 4 × 5. Almost any enlarger chassis can serve as the basis for a copy stand, and adaptation shouldn't be difficult even with just basis tools.
