Hi all,

I'd prefer the K mount version, not the M or A. Optics need to be excellent to mint condition but I can live with a blemish or two on the barrel.

Thanks!

But I do think there are M and A 35s that might have a different max aperture and often get mixed up for the "Pentax-K". They are all K mount, but the "Pentax-K" version has better optics and is slower than the "Pentax-M" and "Pentax-A" versions. Though I might be thinking about the 28...

That's a great lens: not great bokeh with its 5-blade aperture, and you might find it a bit soft on the edges if you're shooting with the FF K1, but on a crop sensor it's wonderfully sharp, with great microcontrast and the unique color palette of the K-series. (Some other favorite K's: the 20/4, 28/2, 28/2.8, 30/2.8, 55/1.8, 85/1.8, 135/2.5.) Otherwise, I saw quite a few offerings on the auction site from Japanese sellers for not a lot of money (certainly less than what it would take for me to part with mine, though lately I've been bitten by the LF bug and haven't used it much.)
