Don't know how well this would work, but being the shutter cables can be hard to find this might be worth a look??

I saw that, the shutter is very hard to trip so with anything connected to the camera there's going to be a lot of movement.

I bought one of those and it functions but mobes the cam way to much..The real cables are worth more than the shutters
