Want to Buy WTB: RT-Processor for B&W and RA-4

Hello! I've noticed more people looking for rt-processors here and elsewhere lately, so I'm not sure how much luck I'll have.

Ideally looking for one that can do up to 11x14. I'm located in Toronto, Canada.

Thermapot ACP 302 looks like a good model that does everything I want, but would be open to other models!

I have just listed a Thermaphot ACP 200 on Ebay and Boston Craigslist. It processes 8 x 10 paper, I note you are looking for an 11 x 14 processor, but if you change your mind, my processor would be something to consider.

I think they closed in the US or North America but they haven't closed down in Germany.

I got a reply saying the don't make 110 Volt systems any more, but can refurbish used ones if I needed.

And probably (I'm guessing) most of the mechanics can be refurbished by someone in North America for a lot less and rollers can be recoated in the US. I shudder to think what it would cost to ship a unit to Germany and back.

Oh yes, thank you for sharing that advice!
I might just go with DIY drum processors until one day when I have a big studio. When that happens, I'm thinking of going with Colenta processors.

Do you have an opinions on them?

If 11x14 is the maximum size I would keep an eye out for the Durst Printo. They come up occasionally on eBay. I have one I got in a darkroom lot it works well and is compact and lightweight. The construction is clever and simple- not a lot to go wrong.

My only experience with processors is with the Ilford ICP-42, which I still have but don't use and never really used. I think other people here have used Colentas

I used drums decades ago, they worked great. Just requires more time and a bit more effort.
