You might write that seller and ask if he'd change his mind about shipping to Australia. Global Express shipping works pretty well and is pretty quick. Get it with tracking and insurance and it will cost about 70 USD.

I got mine from KEH -even they are a little pricey these days- and it was in excellent shape.
I wouldn't trust the meters on the older ones, but I spot meter. I've got a 2.8 but rarely use
it wide open, and a 3.5 is still a very nice camera. dpurdy may be right, but I doubt anyone
would feel bad with 'merely' a planar [I don't].

Hi Dennis, missed it! I hear what you're saying about the lens, I've read mixed reviews on both. I'm happy to wait for the right one.

Hi Tim, thanks. I shoot mostly wide open. I have a planar on my blad and love it. A working meter is important for me on the Rollei.

Go with the Planar. I've used mine on the beaches here in Florida and have not had any flare issues. I might add, the Planar is unbelievably sharp and it's quite a incredible camera with it.

Xenotar/Planar, it does not matter. Condition of the camera being MUCH more important.
