I have a makeshift one that works but would rather have the original if possible.

Thanks,

Eric

Which model charger? Rollei made several: I think the G was for the early cameras, then the N and the last one was the C. I have to dig around, but I think I have a G charger somewhere.

Even if you buy the dedicated charger, which I think is a good idea, consider getting one of these since they work well to recondition the finicky Ni-Cad batteries. I don't think you need the plus II, even the regular maha mh-c777 will do.

There are a couple on the auction site right now. I have one and will probably keep it forever. They work on all different kinds of batteries, great for keeping ni-cds working well. The spikes can be adjusted to contact the metal on batteries and the little tabby thing is a magnet that senses the battery heat while charging. the charger can be set to discharge and then charge the battery. I have had the battery pack refurbished with lithium cells. Now I'm wondering if the old chargers will work.
None of the Rollei chargers will work with lithium batteries as far as I know. Did you retrofit the lithium batteries yourself? I'd love to know if it is difficult to do.

Back when i used Rollei, I had the Maha with several NiMH batteries. Worked great. It'll charge just about anything.

The batteries totally changed the camera too. Made it much more responsive.

Hope that helps you Eric....
