I had one of these years ago. I really liked it, but decided to pass it on. I have never seen, or heard of this camera at all since then. I hope you find one.
Alex.
hello, I've had several in the past and I have always been happy with them. Pity I got rid of them (needed funds for a LF woodie) as I could use one now. Never had problems with the shutter or fungus in the glass. Ergonomically. it beats the Rollie 35 hands down. Now to get Petri Color 35 body and the Rollie 35 lens .... nice combination.

I have been searching for a good clean affordable one for about a year without much luck. Finally succumbed to the Rollei 35. I also have a Minolta HiMatic 7sII that I think may be better than either the Petri or the Rollei.
I have a near mint one that I just ran a roll of Tri-X through and everything seems to be working fine. It has the original pouch and even have a 40.5 UV filer on it. Sending PM.
When I was stationed in Taiwan in the late '50's Petri was not well rated. Ricoh was a step or two above in popularity and perceived quality. Howard Tanger
