But they will be fully functional. Which you never know about with ebay. Every camera I've bought on ebay for a lot less than KEH needed a CLA or at least refoaming. There goes the savings!
Using a reputable seller like Henry's or Bergen County Camera on ebay I've made out okay, sometimes better than KEH. KEH does inform of engraving, unless they screw up.

KEH is usually where I'd go first. But, if you don't mind paying about $150-$170, plus shipping for one, I know where there are a couple that have been fully overhauled. I think at least one of them was recalibrated to 1.5 volts, too.

Kewl. I must be a magnet for bad cameras. I'm happy just about everyone else is happy with KEH but I'll go on warning uselessly.

I got one lens that should have been a BGN but was a UG. I returned it for credit and ordered another, which looks nearly perfect. Other than that, no problems. Mistakes do happen. I hope KEH isn't making more mistakes than they used to.

It will cost you the price of postage to check out an item from KEH, but they will refund the purchase price of the item if you are unsatisfied. Singed maybe, but burned is a bit harsh. I have ordered many items from KEH, many satisfied me, and many were returned. I used to find this frustrating until I realized that KEH delivers exactly what they promise. Nobody there is film testing cameras, nor do they claim that they do.
