Hi all,

Desperately need a Pentax k2 (film camera, of course). My prism is de-silvering itself and I am quite dependent on it!

There’s someone on the Pentaxforums who swap desilvered K1000 prism with Spotmatic ones. Assuming the prism of the K2 is the same size as the K1000, maybe you could snag a Spotmatic? However, I read that K2 prisms has a special coating that make them brighter.
 
Don't hey also show the aperture in the VF? Then the KX may work. I think I've got one partly taken down.
 
The K2 does not show the aperture to my knowledge but the KX does - I am going to ask Eric H. to see if other cameras can donate a prism to the K2.
 
Yeah, Eric says it has to be a K2 to supply the prism.
