Ian - I found a work around using the Nikon DK-20 Correction Eyepiece. You just have to make them thinner to fit. I use sandpaper

I just bought one for a different Pentax from a seller called MightyMike. He seems to have others.
I don't think they had diopters for Spotmatics? I had a cheapo aftermarket one that I modified by cutting and gluing in a reading glass lens into. It worked OK. I had to tape it into place and untape it whenever I changed film. Not the most elegant solution.

I was wrong Keppler says similar correction lenses were available for older Pentax cameras as well as the K & M. The K series are the same size as the early cameras,

He's correct (of course) The eyepiece of the Spotmatic II I have, has slits along each side which are for correction adapters and those worked when I adapted the Nikon diopter to fit
MightyMike sells on Pentaxforums.com I've bought a few items from him, he's a good guy.check classfieds in pentaxforums.

Hello Ian,
I have a circular +2 diopter that was in my Asahi Pentax Correction Lens Adapter. When I picked up my new glasses, this morning, I asked the technician to analyze it and he confirmed the strength.
Are you willing to part with it ? My Pentax View finder magnifier arrive yesterday, while it's good for fine focussing you can only see the centre of the screen.
