That's right, just the column (aka post, shaft, spindle). I have a 2-reel capacity Paterson tank without the part that the reels fit onto.

Will pay postage and a little extra for your trouble.
 
You know, it never occurred to me that these things might be sold separately. Thank you. (I bought a job lot of three tanks, and this was the only one that was incomplete.)
 
Thank you both. I found the kit locally at amplis.com. (Now I have an extra agitator.)
 
I did not realize anyone uses those "agitators".
I tossed the two of mine into the recycle bin.

That's odd, because I've been trying to order this same item online from Amplis since April. Did you happen to notice how many 115 kits were on the shelf/hook at the time?

No, I didn't, but they must be in stock, as I've just been notified of their imminent delivery. Which, I'm assuming, means tomorrow.

bambiwallace, are saying you have extra centre columns for the 2-reel tank, or are you referrring to agitators? If the former, I'd be happy to take one off your hands for a reasonable fee.

The column arrived. To my surprise, it's a little taller than the old ones and makes for an awkward fit with the screw top lid I have. I think, however, it will do. Many thanks to those who commented.

I have the center column that the reels fit on. the agitators go straight to the recycling bin. I'm happy to send you one.

If you attach an extension to the agitator rod it becomes much more functional. It won't give you inversion agitation but it will provide washing machine agitation without having to stick your fingers down into the wet area of the lid assembly.
