Looking for a Nova deep tank processor and I'd be interested in either the 12x16 or 16x20 size. I'd also be interested in other similar models. I want to do moderate sized RA4 prints.
Possibly in part because I have (or had) to place the Nova tank on the bench next to my sink, right against the wall, making managing the paper in total darkness rather cumbersome. Also for a while I ran a Thermaphot so used that instead - all though this roller transport machine is now sitting disassembled and would require significant refurbishment to bring back to operational condition.
Good point about maneuvering the paper in total darkness. In my last printing session I had a few prints with a white spot in the same position and I was inspecting my lens for dust or dirt but nothing. I then realised I was using my finger tip to guide the paper into the slot and I think transfering chemistry onto the paper. Any paper bigger than 5x7 needs skill to move between slots.
I use my Nova processor for B&W only so have the benefit of using a safe light. But one thing I do that might be helpful (and is recommended by Nova) is to drag the back of the paper against the edge of the current slot when lifting it out of the current slot and moving it to the next slot. That reduces the carryover of chemistry between the slots and makes it fairly easy to locate the paper into the next slot. That could be beneficial when using the processor in total darkness. Just a thought...

+1
When I previously processed colour prints, I would also drag it along the edge also to locate and clean off excess chem After a couple of prints, it was almost automagic. Only problem was getting started in the dark, but placing small thin fluorescent strip along the side of the slot helped me. YMMV.
I have a 12x16 size Nova slot processor that I would be willing to sell. I had a buyer about 6 months ago, but he backed out. I used the Nova for RA4 processing several years ago, but I've switched to inkjet printing. Here's a link with some photos: http://www.jbsite.net/nova/
Let me know if you are interested. thanks ---john.
