WTB: not too expensive Leica M teleconverter. I have seen that telemore 95 are cheapest option (is there something cheaper ?), but I am open for all solutions that will not cost me like used Summicron .

Picture quality is secondary, cost efficiency is more important .

Thanks!

Never heard of a M teleconverter, but there are R ones, of course.

From what I remember there were only two types ever made but i can't remember who made the other. If you buy one make sure you get the viewfinder with it. I remember them being around $100 a decade ago. Cheap because no one wanted them. If they cost more than that now it is due to either collectors, or digital Leica M users, who coincidentally also happen to be collectors.....

I’m intrigued - how would you focus an M with a teleconverter fitted?

A "telemore" must have been made by Komura. They did make a 200mm for M Leica, w/a viewfinder.

I don't think that the pictures show a converter for a Leica rangefinder. I cannot see the rangefinder adjusting ring or other device that would couple to an M Model. The base looks more like a 'R' converter but there again the cams needed to operate the aperture diaphragm or the metering.

If it is for a 'M' model then you may have to use a separate rangefinder which is probably the only way around it.
