Wish I noticed this earlier.

I have a Nikkor 28/3.5. It's in great shape, but I'm not a hundred percent sure if it's AI. I bought my Nikon stuff as a kit and it came with it. I never learned the difference between AI, AIS, Non-AI, etc.

It works on my Nikon FM2 if that's any indication.

Probably gonna be cheaper to take John's lens though. I can personally tell you he's a trustworthy person. Great guy too.
